Although iOS 5 beta 3 can be jailbroken with the current version of Redsn0w, but there’s one problem: apps from the App Store don’t work after that. Keeping that in mind, the iPhone Dev Team has released an updated version of Redsn0w which resolves the issue.
The jailbreak however is still tethered, so don’t get too excited yet. Simply restore your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to the latest beta of iOS 5, which is beta 3, and jailbreak using the latest version of Redsn0w using iOS 5 beta 1’s IPSW, simple as that.
You can alternatively use Sn0wbreeze 2.8b4 to jailbreak iOS 5 beta 3 on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad as well.
